USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCH PORTFOLIO: ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Victor (he/him/his). Welcome to my User Experience (UX) Research Portfolio.
I am an Applied Anthropology (M.A.) and Human Factors (M.S.) candidate (December 2021) at San Jose State University (SJSU) where I developed a specialization for Design Thinking research and strategy in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
This academic specialization has been amplified through professional training on rigorous, real-world UX projects.
UX RESEARCH APPROACH:
Through academic and professional training in applied behavioral and social sciences, I have curated a specialized foundation in the broad and multidisciplinary Design Thinking approach to UX Research.
Training consists of theoretical seminars (ANTH 230: Theory in Practice, ANTH 233: Fields of Ethnographic Application, ISE 210: Human Factors and Ergonomics, and ISE 290: Professional Seminar in Human Factors and Ergonomics) and project-based, UX-focused courses:
I seek to use this theory and practice foundation to jumpstart a meaningful career in UX Research that extends far beyond myself. I am eager to contribute my expertise in a cross-functional team to better identify and solve complex problems.
